my second Top Ten Tuesday post, and this one was really fun to write. thanks to The Broke and the Bookish!
10 Fictional Families I'd Like to Have Dinner With:
Ana and Sam, and the whole gang, from Incarnate by Jodi Meadows. i really enjoyed this series. the worldbuilding and was great and if dinner could be served back in that cottage in the woods, i'd be down.
Mercy and Adam, as well as the rest of the pack- even though thinking about it now, that might be a bit frightening. either way, i know dinner with this crew would be rowdy and nonstop.
even though i've only read the first volume in the Ms. Marvel series, i would imagine that dinner with Kamala's friends and family would be full of love and warmth. maybe a villain or two in between meals?
by now i'm sure everyone knows about the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, but hands down dinner with Daemon would be swoon-worthy. sure, staring throughout the whole affair might be considered a bit weird, but it's Daemon people! hopefully Katy wouldn't hate me too much.
yes, going to be completely cliche here, but who wouldn't want to have dinner with the whole Order of the Phoenix gang? the food selection for one would be amazing to experience and getting to be around the best trio that has been written out there- Ron, Harry and Hermoine- would be a dream come true.
Morgan Matson writes so beautifully. so when i was scrolling through Goodreads and saw Since You've Been Gone i knew that dinner with Sloane and Emily would be so cute. they would also be able to road trip to reunite once again. i would be able to make that happen. man, go me.
Celaena Sardothien. enough said. even though, i wouldn't mind if Chaol also joined ;)
i really wish i knew some real life Song sisters because i would crash their dinners every night. also, all the delicious baking that Lara Jean does in the books would come in handy for this soiree!
like i haven't said i loved this book enough, i'd want to have an intergalactic dinner out in space with Kady and Ezra. oh, there's a war going on? that's ok, i'll stick around once the meal is over so i can also kick some butt.
i've always wondered how life would be like for Jane and Mr. Rochester post the mad woman in the attic dilemma. traveling back in time to the 18th century also sounds like a quite an adventure!
did you write out a Top Ten Tuesday post? let me know down below so i can check it out.
